Adeda Omohwo
Martin who hails from Ughelli, Delta state was born in
the mid '80s to family of 4 and had his primary and secondary school education
in Nigeria, he then proceeded to attend Oxbridge tutorial college for
his A-levels and then to the prestigious University of Lagos where
he graduated in 2007 as a Dentist.
D'Crow has always been a fan of music;
throughout his childhood his musical influences were Majek Fashek, Mike Okri
and later on Dr. Dre, Nas, Emimen, Jadakiss, to mention a few. But don't get it
twisted, he listens to all genres including r'n'b, classical rock & Garage.
His foray into music started during his A-levels
when he useed to write poems and eventually they turned into rap lines because
of the strong influence of rap in his life. It was just customary for him to
create his own niche in the hiphop world.
D'Crow has transformed from a mere fan the hiphop genre to a
stakeholder; just to him as HIPHOP's
POSTER BOY. His short and long
term plans for the music industry are: to create beautiful music and create a
platform which would be a springboard for the emerging talents themselves
through their music.
His debut titled "The Truth"
gives an insight into unique lyrical ability of D'Crow and
guest appearances include OJB
Jezreel, C-Mion, Mo'Cheddah, Rheymophoebus.
Producers on the album are ID
Cabasa, K-Solo, OJB Jezreel and Blazon.
The album which dropped in March 2010 and is
available in stores nationwide is a masterclass blend of hiphop urban music.
Due to numerous requests the album "The Truth" is available on iTunes for
download.
